Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. As a trauma informed and EMDR trained psychologist from the Parnell Institute, I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. For some individuals, EMDR can be a chosen course of treatment useful in healing from traumas. If you are interested in learning more, we can discuss this treatment approach and if you may benefit.
In recent years, telehealth options have become more preferred by many people seeking therapy services. Benefits include no travel time or transportation costs, ease in scheduling, reduced risk of covid exposure, and more access to services in rural areas. Some resources beneficial for accessing telehealth include stable internet connection, moderate level of technology literacy, and a device with audio and video capacity. At this time, my practice will remain fully remote and I will not be offering in-person mental health services. All services will be provided via HIPAA compliant and fully confidential video platform. If you are seeking in-person services, I would be happy to provide resources and possible referrals to different providers if I know of any in your area.
